The short version
- · Your screenshots are yours. We only store them to sync and share them when you ask us to.
- · Snaply Plus is billed by Google Play and renews until you cancel it there.
- · Everyone in a shared folder can add and remove screenshots in it.
- · You can delete your account in the app at any time.
1. Using Snaply
Snaply organises screenshots into folders on your phone and reads the text in them on your device. You can use it without an account. Signing in with Google adds cloud backup and folder sharing. By using Snaply you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
Your account is your Google sign-in. Keep access to it secure — anyone who can sign in as you can see your cloud backup and the folders shared with you. Folder locks protect folders on your phone; the PIN never leaves your device, so we cannot recover it for you.
3. Plans and billing
- Snaply Plus is a monthly or yearly subscription sold through Google Play. Google Play handles payment, renewal, refunds and receipts under its own terms.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling keeps Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Prices are shown in the app as Google Play quotes them for your country.
- Deleting your Snaply account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.
4. Cloud storage
- Plus includes the cloud storage stated in the app.
- On the free plan, cloud storage is earned with share credits: each different person you share a folder with, or who shares one with you, adds storage up to the limit stated in the app.
- If a subscription ends, your folders stay on your phone and your cloud backup is kept for 30 days. Re-subscribe within that time and everything carries on. After that, the part of the backup the free plan does not cover is deleted; your screenshots on your phone are not affected.
- Limits may change. Changes never delete what you already have without notice in the app.
5. Shared folders
A shared folder opens only for the Google accounts it was sent to. Everyone who accepts can add screenshots to it, remove any screenshot from it, and rename it, and those changes apply for everyone in the folder. Only share with people you trust with its contents. The owner can stop sharing at any time, and anyone can leave; getting back in takes a new invite. The number of people per folder depends on the owner's plan, as stated in the app.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to what you add to Snaply. You allow us to store, copy and transmit it only as needed to back it up, restore it and deliver it to the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the right to store and share what you add, and you must not use Snaply to share content that is illegal or that infringes anyone else's rights.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Snaply at any time. Account → Delete account removes your account, your cloud backup and the folders you shared. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
8. No warranty
We work to keep Snaply reliable, but it is provided as it is. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — cloud backup is a convenience, not a guarantee.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Snaply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted in the app.
